I paint because it feels good to create! If you enjoy my work too, that’s simply a bonus.

As a child, my mom would often find me tucked behind the couch, completely absorbed, scribbling forest creatures and imaginary worlds. Creating has always felt instinctive to me, like a language I didn’t have to learn.

After years of family life and young children, art stepped aside for a while. Once I decided to live from my imagination, it began flowing back naturally. I started creating original pieces for my husband’s business, and soon clients were asking about the artwork and where they could see more. That encouragement inspired me to create this website!

For over a decade I’ve lived on Whidbey Island with my husband of 20+ years and our 4 children. This corner of the Pacific Northwest, with its water, forests and ever-changing light, continues to ground and inspire my work.
