Kingfisher Bookstore in Coupeville #104

Original Acrylic 20 × 30

Nestled in Coupeville’s Front Street Historic District, this charming bookstore bursts with PNW stories - and colorful flowers and herbs in every window.

Built in 1916 as Benson’s Confectionery, the original sign still hangs above the door, a sweet nod to Sam and Nellie Benson, who once ran their candy shop and lived above it.

*Peek into the bookstore windows and read titles each carrying a personal touch. Many are named after the author’s children, husband, parents, and even her dog. The map of Whidbey Island marks the exact location of the bookstore - a heartfelt guide to the stories that live here. If you’d like, prints of this bookstore can be personalized with your own book titles, just let the author know!
